Welcome summer!
So I ran in ECACs last Friday, which was my last race of the year so now I’m on to summer training! Yay!
I ran a road race on Saturday - a 5k which gives me a pretty good baseline to compare myself to by the end of summer and actually doing some distance work. I ran a 25 minute 5k, but I hope to run a 21 minute 5k by the end of the summer and xc season. I’m doing cross country but an abridged version because I am a sprinter. I’ll only be doing about 35 miles a week at a max, and using the summer and fall to get stronger for my real winter and spring seasons.
So today I: Ran for about 30 minutes, about 3.5-4 miles Core circuit -> 25 of crunches, obliques (both sides), reverse crunches, around the world (both sides), crunch frog, bicycles
